Class Descriptions

INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC & THEATRE (AGES 6-9)

Developing musical and theatric ideas in children in a fun but well structured class.  Students will be encouraged to think on their own in creative ways through role-playing, improvisation and musical exercises.  Children will be taught basic theatre conduct, terminology, beginning music theory, and how to read music.

VOCALS

Classical, Renaissance, New Age, Folk, and Popular music will all be broken down and explained on each level.  Students will learn how to correctly sing in several languages with poise and pride.  Students will learn how to perform with and without the aid of accompaniment.
